Philadelphia’s was originally opened on Milwaukie Ave where Papa Murphy’s is currently located. After 5 ½ years of patronage by loyal Sellwood-Moreland customers, Philadelphia’s moved to it’s current location just a bit north on Milwaukie Ave.
Philadelphia’s also has a notable selection of freshly brewed ales, created by brewmaster Aram Ansell. Some of the regulars include Betsy Ross Golden Ale, Independence Pale Ale (IPA), Rocky Red, Spectrum Amber, and Ben Franklin Brown. Occasional seasonal ales can be found and have included an award winning Belgian Double. Look for this year’s version to be on tap in March.
